Chef Manager Ana Aparicio

Ana Aparicio is excited to lead Loyola School’s dining service program as Chef Manager. Prior to joining Cater To You in 2011, Ana attended culinary school at Monroe College and then spent time interning in the kitchen at the Knickerbocker Club, a traditional gentlemen’s club founded in 1871; It is considered to be the most exclusive club in the United States and one of the most prestigious and aristocratic clubs in the world. She then joined the team at Saint David’s School in Manhattan before taking on the role at Loyola.

As a child, Chef Ana enjoyed watching her father cook. She was always eager to help him and she loved how happy he was to show off the delicious food he made and the pride he felt in feeding his family. Now, at Loyola School, Ana feels the same, “I enjoy making others happy with food and am pleased when I can see the students enjoying the food.”

Chef Ana is New York City-born and raised, and it is probably because of that that she doesn’t have one favorite food. “I love all food, and like to try everything,” she says. When she is not busy in the kitchen, she is soaking up new books and watching docu-series.
